The most common isolated germ in the hemoculture was the Staphylococcus epidermidis with the 31%. This one was also the most frequently isolated in the newborn hemoculture, with some type of medical device used for it s monitoring, with exception of the thorax tube, where the Staphylococcus aureus was located in the first place with the 25% of frequency (n=8). In the most of the hemoculture the Staphylococcus epidermidis was resistant to crystalline penicillin, ampicillin and axacillin and sensible to linezolid, the rifampicin and the vancomycin. The existent relation between weight at born, higher or lower than 2500 grams, genere and age higher or lower than 72 hours and the more frequent isolated germs in the hemoculture, do not have statistic meaning in our study
