This monograph seeks to explain how the phenomenon of Islamophobia has evolved in the United States after the September 11, 2001 attacks, and how it has become a political tool in US elections, just as it has been used to justify interventions In countries where they allegedly support terrorism. One of the reasons why Islamophobia has been generated is the misinterpretation between Islam as a political movement and Islam as a region, these terms have been brought together in a single denominated Islamic fundamentalism, which seeks to explain the actions of terrorist groups of religion Islamic This phenomenon has become increasingly strong among the American population to the point of attacking Muslims, so it is increasingly important for American politicians to appeal to nationalism in their speeches for electoral purposes, spreading the message to the population that Muslims are a major problem for the country and threaten its security. It is therefore important to show how accepted the Islamophobic candidates are and their speeches in the population and how this affects their coexistence with any issue that represents Islam.
