Climate change will affect most of the country's populations and will manifest itself with increased rainfall and temperatures; and, consequently, in increasing the risks of flooding and heat waves. As a measure of adaptation to the climatic phenomenon, urban housing designers and builders must implement bioclimatic construction techniques, that is, practices that improve the comfort and quality of life of people considering and taking advantage of the climate and the environment; and without making excessive use of conventional energy. This research seeks to determine some of the functional bioclimatic techniques for cities Bogotá D.C. and Cali, considering the climatic conditions foreseen for the year 2100.
