The land routes allow to communicate and connect two specific points, through the existing infrastructure for the passage of passengers and load fundamentally. However, this process must be carried out in accordance with minimum standards of quality, comfort and economy. In addition to the above, the vehicle fleet is in constant evolution, which is why the road infrastructure must do so proportionally, providing better rolling conditions. This is how the surface condition of the road surface of a pavement structure is a fundamental factor associated with the comfort, comfort and safety of the driver and passengers; being the superficial regularity a perceptible parameter and of first order in the dynamics and which allows to evaluate of direct way the satisfaction of the same in the use of the route. The present work develops a statistical analysis of data information of the International Roughness Index - IRI, determined for the Bogotá - Girardot dual carriageway in a specific section, this analysis will allow us to relate the parameter with the Present Service Index - ISP and review its influence on road management processes. Additionally, the organized information will allow us to make comparisons in relation to national and international reference values and establish the typical behavior during the life of the pavement.
