In the development of this document, three main chapters are incorporated that seek to answer a problem question of investigative nature. The first chapter entitled; REALISM AND THE NEW WORLD ORDER, proposes that the increasing use of unmanned aircraft and the use of their operations in war, implies a change in the ordering of global politics, therefore, based on realism, as the current theory of International Relations, which responds to changes in the development of the discipline. Of these we can highlight the new scenarios of war, with which we seek to determine the characteristics of the discipline, in addition to the realism and configuration of the International System in the pursuit of power by the States. The second chapter entitled: STRATEGIC PRINCIPLES OF CONTEMPORARY US WAR raises a study of the characteristic elements of the intervention strategy of the United States. For this purpose it is important to analyze why there are new forms of war and how they have been used in the struggles for territorial expansion until the development of contemporary wars for power. Finally, the third chapter: THE OPERATIONS AND THEIR IMPACT, in which the analysis is extended to the use and handling of drones by the United States, through primary sources of information and statistical data, which allow a greater veracity of the information in the analysis, before the increase in operations with drones. The era of drones in fifth generation wars may be something that for many is new, but that responds to the evolution of war throughout history and therefore this approach must be taken into account when understanding the tactics and strategies employed.
