Resumen
El conocimiento técnico ha venido siendo una piedra angular en la formación y en el ejercicio de la Medicina. Se observa que hace falta en este contexto una mayor integración entre el equipo terapéutico y los pacientes. La educación médica debe ser más humanista, tomando al ser humano que sufre como una persona integralmente y no desde la enfermedad que padece.
El propósito del presente ensayo es hacer una revisión de las estrategias didácticas que contribuyen a fortalecer la relación médico paciente durante la formación integral de los nuevos profesionales en medicina.
Consecuentemente se desarrolló una revisión documental cualitativa-descriptiva con base en distintas fuentes, autores e investigaciones relacionadas con el tema con el propósito de conocer las distintas didácticas aplicadas y los alcances obtenidos en el mejoramiento de la relación médico-paciente.
Los resultados permiten establecer que existe una evolución en las estrategias didácticas soportadas en el cambio de la concepción de la relación médico – paciente, en el modelo constructivista de la educación médica, Neoliberalismo en la profesión médica, fortalecido por estrategias como literatura, cine y medios de simulación.
Technical knowledge has been a cornerstone in the formation and practice of medicine. It is observed that greater integration between the therapeutic team and patients is needed in this context. Medical education must be more humanistic, taking the human being who suffers as a person integrally and not from the disease that suffers.
The purpose of the present essay is to review the didactic strategies that contribute to strengthen the doctor-patient relationship during the comprehensive training of new medical professionals.
Consequently, a qualitative-descriptive documentary review based on different sources, authors and research related to the subject was developed with the purpose of knowing the different applied didactics and the achievements obtained in the improvement of the doctor-patient relationship.
The results allow to establish that there is an evolution in the didactic strategies supported in the change of the conception of the doctor - patient relationship, in the constructivist model of medical education, Neoliberalism in the medical profession, strengthened by strategies such as literature, cinema and media simulation.
