The last fifteen years Colombia has presented a sequential increase on the licensing in construction, originated by the opportunities that the national government is offering to the citizens for the acquisition of housing of social interest what In parallel to increasing the generation of construction and demolition waste-RCD, it is estimated that annually the growth is 2% leading to the cities and municipalities are overflowing in an environmental problem at the time of carrying out the management Appropriate of the same by incurring environmental impacts on the air, water and soil originated by the bad business practices of the construction industry, ignorance of management alternatives of RCD, lack of monitoring, inspection and Control by the environmental authorities and the inadequate final disposition, this problem led to the issue of regulations to control the generation of RCD. The imperative need to integrate these standards into local and business reality is born through the design of a guide to RCD management alternatives that contains a hierarchical and sequential application that includes: prevention, reduction, collection, transport, Storage, utilization, final disposition, education, culture and awareness, with the aim of ensuring the reduction of RCD, the extraction and depletion of non-renewable natural resources and the sustainable environmental development between man , nature and environment that guarantees to the present and future generations a healthy environment, on processes of innovation as life cycle of the materials and their inclusion in the circular economy.
