The current landscape is influenced by the advances in technology and therefore, significantly affects business relationships, it is for this reason that companies are subject to contemplate new ways of generating profitability through the economic activity they exercise. Regardless of the size of the company, carrying out new strategies represents a challenge for all those entrepreneurs who embark on this journey, since the new interactions that can be observed in the market demand high levels of competitiveness. Given the above, it is valid to mention the criteria of Pérez Bengochea (2008) in relation to business competitiveness, since it has a double aspect, that is, internal competitiveness and external competitiveness; highlighting that internal competitiveness refers to the "competence of the company with itself from the comparison of its efficiency over time and the efficiency of its internal structures (productive and services.)". What could well indicate, that the good management of the human resource constitutes a fundamental action at the moment of ensuring the internal competitiveness of the company.
However, small and medium enterprises have generated the interest of the author when contemplating the structure of the company, since this type of companies known as SMEs, have an obvious disadvantage compared to large companies, so the issue of Competitiveness could represent an even more complex challenge to assume; However, the fact that SMEs do not have the structure and financial capacity of large companies are not exempt from strengthening their internal competitiveness, which will focus throughout this essay, on strengthening human talent through the induction of staff, resulting in the training that is required to have knowledge of the roles and responsibilities. In this sense, the approach that will be developed from now on will allow to establish an analysis on the importance of the process of induction of personnel in companies, specifically, in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which are seen threats by diversity that exists in the market, and the demands of competitiveness. Thus, the research will be developed based on the relevance that this process has in the proper development of internal functions and its influence on productivity and customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
