Technical work at heights is a task that is carried out in different organizations. Its development implies the implementation of certifications and specialized training. In the research work that was developed, the study of the conceptual framework of this kind of activities was carried out, emphasizing elements of interest that are related to the OSHA regulatory framework. In the second part, a study of the national regulatory framework that has been used to regulate activities involving technical work at heights was developed. Two deductions emerged from the study of the regulatory framework: first, technical work at heights was initially regulated under the concept of “social protection”. Second, the current regulations do not emphasize labor fields in which the risk exposure is greater. In the third part, the reader will find an analysis of the adaptation of the concept of technical work at heights, to the operational and administrative framework of the National Army.
