This essay shows the lack of information that young people have in relation to the social security system, particularly the pension system, the importance in the training that must be done of the Average Premium Regime with defined benefit, which still survives in some countries in the world and in the region, stands out in Argentina and Colombia. In our country it is regulated by Law 100 of 1993, modified by Law 787 of 2003. The great challenge of the pension system is to increase coverage by ensuring that more people have a formal job, with decent working conditions and the information is multiplied in pension matters, hence the importance that the new generation of citizens are aware of joining and contributing to the pension system of their choice, of the options that are present in the Colombian market, the RPM managed by Colpensiones and the RAIS managed by private funds.
The options for recognition of benefits that citizens have will be presented in the Colombian Pensions-Colpensiones Administrator, in the different risks that arise from IVM (Disability, Old Age and Death), generating confidence in Colombians, with the application of novel processes. Also to publicize the National Government's flagship program for the protection of old age, Beps (Periodic Economic Benefits) that seeks to protect and favor the most vulnerable population, encouraging the culture of savings, projecting it as a close and quality service for the citizens.
