Resumen
Las Normas Internacionales de Auditoria (NIA) llegaron a Colombia para quedarse e implementarse en el año 2016. Es por ello que se busca demostrar los aportes de la auditoría y aseguramiento de la información financiera en las pymes del sector comercio al por menor de artículos de ferretería, pinturas y productos de vidrio en establecimientos especializados de la ciudad de Bogotá D.C. dados por las Normas Internacionales de Auditoria (NIA). Las funciones de aseguramiento de información permiten una mayor confianza en la normatividad Colombiana, como soporte para la toma de decisiones para corregir situaciones en los casos cuando se presentan dificultades económicas, que los estados financieros generados por las empresas están bajo una normatividad uniforme, lo que genera mayor aceptación de los datos que contienen estos estados financieros y esto genera atracción para la inversión extranjera en el país, apoya la armonización del ámbito contable a nivel internacional. En cuanto a la metodología, se analizaron los estándares normativos desde revisión documental y se consultó a Contadores Públicos con alguna experiencia para finalmente establecer lineamientos que contribuyan a las intervenciones futuras en el sector. Todo lo anterior, para afrontar los retos del sector como lo son la falta de conocimiento de las NIA por parte de los dueños o gerentes de la empresa, la falta de capacitación y la percepción como un gasto, sin percibir un valor agregado a la actividad empresarial.
The International Auditing Standards (NIA) arrived in Colombia to stay and be implemented in the year 2016. That is why it seeks to demonstrate the contributions of the audit and assurance of financial information in the pymes in the retail trade sector of articles of hardware, paints and glass products in specialized establishments in the city of Bogotá DC given by the International Auditing Standards (NIA). The information assurance functions allow greater confidence in the Colombian regulations, as support for decision-making to correct situations in cases when economic difficulties arise, that the financial statements generated by the companies are under uniform regulations, which generates greater acceptance of the data contained in these financial statements and this generates attraction for foreign investment in the country, supports the harmonization of the accounting field at the international level. Regarding the methodology, the regulatory standards were analyzed from documentary review and Public Accountants with some experience were consulted to finally establish guidelines that contribute to future interventions in the sector. All of the above, to face the challenges of the sector such as the lack of knowledge of the NIA by the owners or managers of the company, the lack of training and the perception as an expense, without perceiving an added value to the activity. business.
