The populations of Cantagallo and South’s San Pablo of the department of Bolivar, Colombia, are located on a part of Interandean valley in the middle Magdalena, a zone geographically defined by the flatland of Magdalena River, characterized by its high content of hydric resources among which are found between other hog, dams as others.
Those populations are found connected by a tertiary 8 km approximately route, but actually comes early the designs of a route project that permits the connection between Yondo (Antioquia) and Simiti (Bolivar’s south) whose projects the adaptation of the existing road onto a first level road, which will make part of the future connection between the neighbor countries of Panama and Venezuela, having as object to foment the development augmenting the competitiveness, diminishing the rate of the accident rate of the route, stimulate the tourism, improve the conditions of the transport of agricultural products, and contributing on a direct way to the connection with the Atlantic coast.
In Colombia have been seen affectations of big impact one of those was the crisis presented in the Casanare caused by anthropic activities, one of the activities that generated cumulative and synergic impacts was the construction of a route that contributed on the rupture of the ecosystemic that the region presents as the alteration of the currents and superficial water bodies just like the affectation of the relatively superficial aquifer
The objective of this work is establish the possible affectation in the hydric resource of the mentioned populations, by the adaptation of a route project, through a zoning with geographical information systems, that allows realize and analyze different types of query in real form, basing the results on the cartography and the aerial existing images on the study zone.
