dc.description.abstract | El presente ensayo planteará que aunque no existe una definición a nivel internacional uniforme en relación con el terrorismo, es un fenómeno antiguo que se extiende al conflicto colombiano y se manifiesta en el modus operandi de los grupos insurgentes que realizan constantes sabotajes a la infraestructura energética y estratégica del país. El terrorismo ambiental que utilizan las FARC y el ELN afecta el ambiente de negocios para las empresas explotadoras de recursos naturales y tiene graves consecuencias sobre el medio ambiente y la calidad de vida de la población civil. Por tal razón, tanto el sector privado como el Estado a través de la Fuerza Pública, han tratado de dar solución al flagelo mediante iniciativas como los servicios de seguridad privada y la creación de unidades militares encargadas de atender estas amenazas. | spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | This paper will present that although there is no uniform definition internationally in relation to terrorism, is an ancient phenomenon that extends to the Colombian conflict is manifested in the modus operandi of the insurgent groups that perform constant sabotage of infrastructure and energy strategic country. Environmental terrorism used by the FARC and ELN affects the business environment for companies exploiting natural resources and has serious consequences on the environment and quality of life of civilians.
