dc.description.abstractenglish | The children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia can be cured completely by 70 to 80% with intensive chemotherapy protocols, but a lower percentage of patients on the other hand, may suffer a "relapse" of the disease despite having completed or not initial treatment. As reported in the literature, most of these relapses occur within the first two years following treatment. This study aimed to characterize demographic and clinical aspects; determine the pattern of relapse and to evaluate the response to treatment of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia treated with ACHOP 2006 protocol between 2007 and 2012 at the National Cancer Institute in Bogota - Colombia | eng |
