Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación presenta las principales cifras de los últimos años, en las cuales se refleja el crecimiento y aceptación de este producto financiero, y muestra la forma en la cual ha sido utilizado como una herramienta para permitir que las personas de bajos recursos tengan la oportunidad de acceder al sistema financiero y de esta manera apoyar su crecimiento y disminuir la desigualdad.
This research presents the main figures of recent years, in which the growth and acceptance of this financial product is reflected, and shows the way in which it has been used as a tool to enable low-income people have the opportunity to access the financial system and thus support its growth and reduce inequality.
