This test is intended to determine the social responsibility that have deal with the problem of school violence and bullying, educational institutions of our country. I present to determine general aspects of school violence, educational institutions and structure, statistics reports of child abuse (2014) and the legal system that governs us to counter this scourge that affects us.
For the scope of the above was a literature review that describes elements of school violence, the profile of the harasser, index complaints to the prosecution for these crimes, the corporate purpose of the educational institution and the responsible behavior of violence within the classroom.
Specialized authors in education taken as reference for this document are Piñuel, I. Onate and his work "Violence and bullying against children", Lidia M. Fernandez, Educational Institutions, dynamic institutions in critical situations, Geberth, VJ , Stalkers, great authors devoted to this subject especially giving us a real insight into what our children are suffering in their school environment and the future consequences of our society.
Finally we can conclude that if there is a high responsibility of the school of this scourge, because the human being is developed by modeling, that is what you see is what repeats and thus generates a pattern of behavior since the first years of life which they are from the nursery until the beginning of youth, ie to 17.18 years, our children remain nearly 70%, 80% within the school environment.
Supplemented with the above present high statistics reported by the Directorate of Citizen Care services ICBF 2014 and the Attorney General's Office this year, alarming and disturbing figures for our society.
The aim of the practice of bullying is to intimidate, belittle, reduce, subdue, flattening, intimidate and consume, emotionally and intellectually, the victim, in order to obtain a favorable outcome for those who harass or meet a pressing need to dominate, subjugate , attack and destroy others who may have stalkers as a predominant pattern of social relationships with others.
The child who develops behaviors of harassment to other seeks, through the method of "trial and error" get the recognition and attention of others, of lacking, coming to learn a relationship model based on exclusion and contempt of others.
Very often the child who harasses another partner very quickly usually surrounded by a band or group of stalkers who join unanimously and gregarious behavior of harassment against the victim way. This is due to the lack of an outside authority (eg, a teacher, a relative, etc.) that imposes limits on this type of behavior, driving the main stalker an image of leader on the rest of their peers followers.
The consequence is leaving us, bullying like other forms of psychological abuse produces biological and mental consequences. Center specialists Human Stress Studies (CSHS) of the Louis-H Hospital. Lafontaine in Canada suggest that harassed victims are more vulnerable to mental problems such as posttraumatic stress disorder, depression and mood disorders as they age.
