Abstract
El enfoque de este trabajo, consiste en resaltar la vital participación de la Policía Nacional en la ciudad de Bucaramanga-Santander, en cuanto a la solución de problemas que se presentan constantemente por la interacción entre el medio ambiente y los seres vivos. Lo anterior con el objeto de promover la iniciativa en la creación de nuevas políticas, reformas y planes estratégicos que contribuyan tanto para el mejoramiento y evolución del nivel de desempeño de esta autoridad; como, para beneficio de la calidad de vida de la comunidad en general, ya que actualmente en la ciudad existe un grupo llamado, Grupo de Protección Ambiental y Ecológica de Santander, encargado de la veeduría ambiental y ecológica del territorio. De acuerdo a la investigación realizada, se presenta, además de los lineamientos específicos constituidos legalmente, bajo los cuales rige el Grupo Ambiental de la Policía Nacional, información suministrada por la Corporación Autónoma Regional Para la Defensa de la Meseta de Bucaramanga en cuanto a la participación en plan de Descontaminación Ambiental, también, a través de artículos publicados por medios de comunicación como Vanguardia Liberal, que permiten determinar que actualmente se están llevando a cabo gestiones y planes operativos para la conservación del medio ambiente, siguiendo las respectivas normativas y legislación establecida en el País. De acuerdo a lo anterior, se determina, que la educación ambiental se convierte en una herramienta fundamental para generar conocimientos, actitudes y comportamientos orientados a una cultura de la sostenibilidad, en donde la participación social en la gestión ambiental llevada a cabo por las autoridades competentes, contribuye a mejorar las condiciones ambientales de los territorios y de la población.
The focus of this paper is to highlight the vital participation of the National Police in the city of Bucaramanga-Santander in terms of solving problems that are constantly presented by the interaction between the environment and living things. This in order to promote the initiative in creating new policies, reforms and strategic plans that contribute to the improvement and development of the level of performance of this authority both; as for the benefit of the quality of life of the community in general, and currently in the city, a group called Group of Environmental Protection and Ecological Santander, responsible for environmental and ecological oversight of the territory. According to the research, it is in addition to the specific guidelines legally constituted, under which governs the Environmental Group of the National Police, information provided by the Regional Autonomous Corporation for the Defense of the Plateau of Bucaramanga presented in terms of participation in plan environmental Decontamination also through articles published by media as Liberal Vanguard, which determine which are currently carrying out exercises and operations plans for environmental conservation, following the relevant regulations and legislation established in the country. According to the above, it is determined that environmental education becomes a key to generating knowledge, attitudes and oriented to a culture of sustainability behaviors, where social participation in environmental management carried out by the competent authorities tool It helps to improve the environmental conditions of the territory and population.
