Abstract
El presente artículo brinda solución desde la Ingeniería a una problemática del área de proveedores y compras, por medio de la aplicación de la metodología PMI, a través del diseño de la WBS y estimación del Costo – Beneficio.
Dentro de la cadena de abastecimiento de una empresa, el proceso de selección de proveedores y cotización de los bienes y servicios, son fundamentales, por ello mediante PMBOK (Quinta Edición), se abarco la triple restricción de un proyecto, Alcance, Tiempo y Costos, con el fin de optimizar los tiempos de gestión dentro del proceso.
El modelo SUPPLY CHAIN BASE se ajusta a cualquier organización, los beneficios y eficiencias que se pueden llegar a alcanzar justifican la inversión inicial, posteriormente durante la vida útil de una compañía solo incurrirán en un costo por la cantidad de registros anuales que deseen adquirir.

The present article provides solution from engineering to a problem in the area of suppliers and purchases, by means of the application of the methodology PMI, through the design of the WBS and estimate of the cost - benefit.
Within the supply chain of a company, the process of selecting suppliers and prices of the goods and services are fundamental for this through PMBOK (Fifth edition), abarco triple restriction of a project, Scope, time and costs, in order to optimize the time of management within the process.
The model SUPPLY CHAIN BASE fits any organization, the benefits and efficiencies that can be reach justify the initial investment, later during the life of a company only incur a cost by the amount of annual records who wish to acquire.
