The coffee sector in Colombia has been consolidated as one of the strongest for the national economy, since the mid-nineteenth century began to solidify what would be later the agribusiness with greater relevance of the country (Machado, 2001). The studies on coffee that began to generate some kind of identity and recognition, started in the 50s of the twentieth century, with the document of Grandson Arteta (1958) The coffee in Colombian society. The importance that Grandson Arteta gives the coffee as national product and consolidation of a society, is marked by the theoretical guide of the historian, i.e. from their point of view you can see how it builds society coffee maker, founded on the less privileged classes of the country, but exalted by the high lineage national. The coffee has had a political importance, social and of course economic, without a doubt was the product that generated some economic independence for the country and the break with the economy of the colonial type that was reached to live in the nineteenth century (Machado, 2001). However, the incursion into an international market responds to certain variables of what is called for this job the system world, a concept that will cover later when we delve into the theoretical that governed in this work.
