Abstract
La protección brindada por parte del Estado colombiano a las personas con movilidad reducida es un tema de gran relevancia en un Estado Social de Derecho . Investigar comparadamente sobre su regulación puede ser útil para contribuir al establecimiento del nivel de dicho apoyo estatal en el ámbito jurídico local.
La inclusión social de las personas con movilidad reducida, mediante políticas y regímenes jurídicos específicos, es tarea de obligatorio cumplimiento para el Estado, según se deriva de la jurisprudencia de la Corte Constitucional sobre los primeros artículos de la Constitución Política, el Estado Social de Derecho, el respeto a la dignidad humana, y los fines propios de todo Estado
