Abstract
La responsabilidad social empresarial, es un tema que progresa a niveles internacionales, aceptado con gran interés por un grupo de agentes comprometidos en adoptar estrategias de cambio que le permitan un crecimiento integral y asimismo contribuir con beneficios a la sociedad quien en su esencia hace posible que de ella se obtenga dicho crecimiento y aporte integral a las organizaciones. Por lo anterior se evidencia una herramienta de Auditoria Social, como lo es el Balance Social, el cual permite mediante su aplicación, medir cuantitativa y cualitativamente la gestión social de las organizaciones, a través del entorno de la responsabilidad social y en miras de una mayor rentabilidad de las mismas.
