Abstract
Generally in civil constructions projects, setbacks that were not contemplated within the activity schedules, become risk factors due to poor planning, which could generate problems in the quality of projects. These risk factors can affect the economic development and the logistical progress of the work, which leads to the deterioration of the socioeconomic environment on which this construction has influence and could permanently affect the sources of work and the development of the region. For this reason, this research conducted a compared analysis of risk management in the construction projects of Torres del Bosque in the city of Tunja and Calipso Tower in the city of Cartagena, through the collection of information and their respective analysis through The International Standards Guide PMBOK®, based on the guidelines of the PMI® (Project Management Institute). Finally, an integral reference document was obtained as a result, which allowed to classify the risk according to the level of significant valuation and in that document the valuation matrix was determined, where the risk were classified according to significant valuation level, the incidence index was the low valuation; extreme and high risk was present within the physical factors. It was concluded that in the constructive systems prevention strategies should be used when starting a construction, builders must implement tasks to improve results, risk must be identified in a plan that will mitigate the situation presented and finally establish the rights, duties and control in the administration of occupational hazards, where strategies are planned, programs, schedules and training of the installation of emergency brigades and first aid.
