Abstract
Los páramos son ecosistemas muy vulnerables, los cuales se encuentran ubicados en la parte alta y montañosa de Colombia, estos tienen una alta capacidad de retención de agua debido a su vegetación, siendo principales abastecedores de agua para los municipios ya que allí también nacen las principales corrientes hídricas que recorren el país, también este ecosistema presenta gran diversidad de especies y habitas, además de esto debido a sus condiciones geográficas y topográficas tienen tierras muy productivas, por lo que el ser humano busca su aprovechamiento mediante actividades mineras, agrícolas y ganaderas, las cuales han ocasionado gran cantidad de impactos a este ecosistema, como la contaminación, dejando expuesto y vulnerable este ecosistema al cambio climático, debido a esto se ha generado la necesidad de crear políticas de uso sostenible , las cuales no han sido efectivas para evitar la afectación de este ecosistema, por esto es importante hacernos la siguiente pregunta;
¿Cómo se ven afectados los ecosistemas de páramo debido a las actividades mineras, agrícolas y ganaderas realizadas por el ser humano?
¿En qué condición están actualmente los ecosistemas de páramo y que medidas de mitigación se pueden implementar para evitar que estos ecosistemas se sigan viendo afectados por actividades mineras, agrícolas y de ganadería?
The páramos are very vulnerable ecosystems, which are located in the high and mountainous part of Colombia, these have a high water retention capacity due to their vegetation, being the main water suppliers for the municipalities since there are also the main ones water currents that run through the country, this ecosystem also has great diversity of species and habitats, in addition to this because of its geographical and topographic conditions have very productive land, so the human being seeks its use through mining, agricultural and livestock, which have caused a lot of impacts to this ecosystem, such as pollution, leaving this ecosystem exposed and vulnerable to climate change, due to this has generated the need to create policies for sustainable use, which have not been effective in preventing affecting this ecosystem, this is why it is important to do the following ask question;
How are páramo ecosystems affected due to mining, agricultural and livestock activities carried out by humans?
In what condition are páramo ecosystems currently and what mitigation measures can be implemented to prevent these ecosystems from being affected by mining, agricultural and livestock activities?
