Abstract
La cooperación Internacional para el desarrollo es un conjunto de recursos que transfieren los actores públicos y privados del concierto internacional a otros países en vías de desarrollo, con el fin de crear nuevos avances que permitan generar impactos económicos, sociales y culturales. Para valorar la viabilidad de la aplicación de estrategias de Cooperación Internacional en el Municipio de Villarrica, departamento del Tolima, es importante estudiar los impactos que ha tenido la Cooperación en Colombia, especialmente en el ámbito educativo, y de esta manera ver cómo el municipio de Villarrica en el Departamento del Tolima puede ser partícipe de los beneficios que ésta ofrece. De esta manera, se procurá buscar mejoras a los indicadores de educación de las dos instituciones del municipio, a través de un modelo de cooperación internacional no solo financiera sino técnica, que permita elevar el nivel de calidad de las estructuras curriculares que se tienen en la educación municipal, creando una prospectiva que permita mejorar los niveles de desarrollo humano de la población campesina. Para ello se tomó como punto de partida dos casos exitosos de cooperación internacional referentes a educación, ejecutados en Medellín y el Departamento del Chocó los cuales han traído crecimiento económico y social de manera equitativa y sostenible a las comunidades donde se implementó.
International cooperation for development is a set of resources that transfer public and private actors from the international concert to other developing countries, in order to create new advances that allow generating economic, social and cultural impacts. In order to assess the viability of the application of International Cooperation strategies in the Municipality of Villarrica, department of Tolima, it is important to study the impacts that the Cooperation in Colombia has had, especially in the educational field, and in this way see how the municipality of Villarrica in the Department of Tolima can be a participant in the benefits it offers. In this way, it is sought to seek improvements to the education indicators of the two institutions of the municipality, through a model of international cooperation not only financial but technical, which allows raising the level of quality of the curricular structures that are held in the municipal education, creating a prospective that allows to improve the levels of human development of the rural population. To this end, two successful cases of international cooperation related to education, executed in Medellin and the Department of Chocó, were taken as a starting point, which have brought economic and social growth in an equitable and sustainable manner to the communities where it was implemented.
