dc.description.abstractLos centros de distribución son un pilar de gran importancia para las compañías del sector automotriz siendo esta una industria de $1.5 miles de millones de dólares a nivel mundial. Estos centros representan cerca del 20% del costo logístico de la cadena de suministro y el proceso de alistamiento aporta la mitad de este costo. Aunque las compañías utilizan sistemas de información que administran sus inventarios, algunos de estos no cuentan con el nivel necesario para mantener ordenada la bodega o se designa este proceso al personal de acuerdo a su experiencia. En este documento, se presenta un método de reubicación de productos con base en la correlación con lo que son solicitados optimizando su distribución mediante una heurística.spa

dc.description.abstractenglishThe distribution centers are a pillar of great importance for the companies of the automotive sector, this being a $ 1.5 billion industry worldwide. These centers represent about 20% of the logistics cost of the supply chain and the enlistment process contributes half of this cost. Although companies use information systems that manage their inventories, some of these do not have the level necessary to keep the warehouse organized or this process is designated to the personnel according to their experience. In this document, a method of product relocation is presented based on the correlation with what is requested, optimizing its distribution by means of a heuristic.eng
