The present work intends to analyze the political activism of Islamic feminists in Iran during the 21st century, which has been characterized by its radical and independent character, and by its firm intention to disassociate itself from any political ideology. Initially, will be established the antecedents that have led women to seek social and political reforms, with the firm objective of changing the situation of inequality and subordination to men. It will be exposed from the theoretical perspective of Islamic Feminism, the political action carried out by women, taking into account that it is a country that conceives the religious sphere (specifically the Sharia) as the cornerstone of social order. Throughout the work the theorists will be questioned objectively, avoiding falling into Western prejudices and the demonization of an ancient civilization, of a culture full of traditions and customs such as Iran.
