| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | The evidence on the effectiveness of simulation in the training of graduate students of anesthesiology is broad, especially with regard to the acquisition of technical and non-technical skills in a safe learning environment and without the risk to patients in real scenarios. There are situations grouped within the concept of resource management in critical events in anesthesia, which due to their fortuitous, unusual and highly deadly nature, require an anticipation and preparation for which traditional teaching is not enough. Therefore, it is essential to emphasize the usefulness of simulation in training for the management of anesthesia crisis resources both in the perioperative setting and after surgery, as well as in the evidence of its importance and the effectiveness of its implementation. in the formal curriculum. The panorama found is that only some university programs at an international level have an implementation of the simulation in this specific topic within their formal curriculum. In the case of Colombia, there are elements available and in use, but they are not part of the formal training curricula. | eng |
