Abstract
Este documento sintetiza la información relacionada con la implementación de grano de caucho reciclado (GCR) en la modificación de mezclas asfálticas en Colombia, mostrando el desarrollo que ha tenido esta tecnología en nuestro país a través de las obras que se han construido, y a nivel de investigación donde se evidencia la importancia de aplicación de esta tecnología como solución a los problemas de tipo mecánico que son muy comunes en los pavimentos y reducir los problemas de impacto ambiental que genera la gestión inadecuada de las llantas desechadas.
This the document synthesizes all the information related to the use of asphalt miscellanies modified with grainof rubber recycled (GCR) in Colombia, showing the development that has hadthis technology in our country acrossthe works that have been constructed, and at level of investigation where it isdemonstrated that the implementationof t he GCR in the pavings is a goodalternative to give him solution to theproblems of mechanical type that arevery common in the pavings and toreduce the problems of environmentalimpact that g enerates the inadequatemanagement of the disused rims.
