Abstract
Drug trafficking has been a national and international phenomenon that has affected in one way or another the majority of the States of the world. Since the last century, this problem managed to gain great force with the appearance of different criminal organizations in the world, especially the Colombian cartels. However, the different events, coups, wars, violence, globalization and technology have led the drug trafficking phenomenon to adapt and transform its way of acting; Despite this, different international organizations and governments have not been 100% associated with these changes and therefore have had difficulties in combating drug trafficking. The importance of analyzing the evolution that drug trafficking has had in our country is relevant to understand how this criminal activity has managed to cope with the different changes in the world, from large gangsters to individuals who go unnoticed when carrying out their criminal activity. stealthier way. One of the great problems that the Colombian government has had has been to strengthen the fight against drug trafficking from its vanishing point, which is the commercialization of the drug abroad, since its profits are reflected with what they receive from abroad and not precisely with the process of cultivation and production of the drug. From the above, through different means of export that tend to free up that criminal activity abroad, it will be possible to observe the various mechanisms by which the drug is transported to other countries, and also how the public force has acted against this problem of great importance that the country still has in the fight against this transnational phenomenon.
