Abstract
The present investigation meets the objective of understanding the geodynamic behavior of the pozzolans used as stone aggregate in the mortars of Rome Italy, Analyzing its properties since its genesis according to the document [21], this provides information on how the evolution of the boiler has been of the Colli Albani volcano (Rome-Italy), being the pozzolanas a product of volcanic eruptions, this aggregate was exploited by the Romans to produce mortars since the development of the first concrete masonry. In addition, the petrography of the pozzolans in the Roman mortars of the report is analyzed [18], this report describes the characteristics and mineralogical set to distinguish the different volcanic products used to produce mortar in Rome Italy. This research manages to understand why several Roman structures currently remain long-lasting and resistant, taking into account the genesis and geomechanical properties of natural pozzolans as a fine aggregate, this could currently be used more consciously in conventional mortars based on the genesis of the stone aggregate.
