Abstract
The protection of the environment and the proper management of natural resources is a commitment that the governments of the world have to mitigate the negative effects caused in nature. Therefore, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aim to conserve and recover the use of terrestrial ecosystems such as forests, wetlands, dry lands and mountains by 2020. Within the roadmap of the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation (APC), It is framed that the end of the conflict facilitates access to territories with high biodiversity in order to generate projects of reforestation, conservation and adaptation to climate change and the sustainable use of our natural wealth. Norway's cooperation in Colombia responds to the guidelines of its global strategy, giving priority in the country to areas such as human rights, humanitarian aid and sustainable environmental development. This essay addresses the problem of deforestation in the municipalities of Mesetas and La Uribe in the department of Meta, having as main causes the expansion of the agricultural frontier, the construction of illegal roads and inadequate industrial practices, significantly affecting the ecosystem of this region. Taking into account these conditions, it is necessary to carry out a project that contributes to the improvement and protection of the environment in order to counteract the effects of global warming and improve the quality of life of the population with an ecosystem in optimum conditions for integral social development.
