The training of healthcare personnel should be oriented not only from the acquisition of knowledge specific to each profession, but should also be ordered to moral principles that allow a greater humanization and awareness of the reality of patients who attend hospital institutions. The teaching of ethics, in the formation of the health sciences today, must respond to the great challenges of society, and that is why it requires institutions to train more than "students";, individuals with ethical personalities, capable of facing their existence, giving meaning to their lives, developing their capacities and human virtues. The study of the health disciplines is oriented to the disease, but due to its ethical formation it must be oriented to the human being, respecting its autonomy and individuality, determining the caregiver-patient relationship, carried out between people under similar personal realities, motivating to participate actively in the care process, not being, the patient only a recipient but a co-author of the care plan. For all these reasons, the teaching of ethics in the formation of health sciences must be more practical and better oriented, thus responding to the great challenges of today's changing and demanding society, which demands quality care.
