For several years ago and since the beginning of the 20th century, due to crop management issues, such as improving the quality of food, soil, plants, and the economy worldwide, it has led us through human activities and needs to combat pests that affected their crops and products with the use of substances capable of eliminating them through established techniques and protocols for their respective effectiveness. The objective of this article is to address the fundamental aspects of agrochemicals related to human health and the environment, addressing the use of other types of techniques or activities such as clean production, which is the mixture of agrochemicals with biologicals but more biological than chemical and the other technique or activity is organic production that is purely biological and thus improve the reduction of environmental problems such as climate change and greenhouse gases using the literature review as a methodology; The topics covered included, the history of their use, their classification, the most frequent uses, the misuse by certain people without education, the effects on the environment and human health and the alternatives of their use, the possible advantages and disadvantages that may have when using a pesticide and its side effects on biodiversity and alterations in the present ecosystems since sufficient evidence has accumulated of the risks that the excessive and indiscriminate use of pesticides entail for health and the environment. environment
