dc.description.abstractLa innovación es considerada como un factor importante para el crecimiento económico, dada sus aportes en la optimización de procesos, reducción de costos de producción, fomento de la investigación, reconocimiento de marca y posicionamiento en el mercado, para conocer el estado de innovación de Colombia frente a España, a través del documento se contrastaran tres variables: Volumen en el registro de patentes, Inversión del PIB en Investigación y Desarrollo y finalmente resultados históricos del Indice Global de Innovación, los resultados identificaran aspectos interesantes desarrollados a partir del análisis de variables por si mismas y combinadas, entre los cuales, que la relación entre volumen de registro de patentes de cada país es directa con el PIB destinado a Investigación y Desarrollo, también se desarrollara el argumento de porque el registro de patentes por si mismo no explica grandes avances en innovación, según los resultado de los datos, también se concluye que para que Colombia llegue a ser un país líder en innovación en la región debe emprender diversas estrategias que contribuyan a este fin.spa

dc.description.abstractenglishInnovation is considered an important factor for economic growth, it contributes to have better optimization process, companies invests less costs in their production, Innovation promotes the research and generates brand recognition and positioning in the market, to know the state of innovation in Colombia. v.s Spain, through the document three variables will be contrasted: Volume in the patents registers, GDP in Research and Development and finally historical results of the Global Index of Innovation, the results will identify interesting aspects developed from the analysis of variables by themselves and combined, among which, that the relationship between the volume of patent registration of each country is direct with the GDP destined to Research and Development, the argument of why the patent registration by itself does not explain great innovation advances, also if Colombia want to become a leading country in innovation in the region must undertake several strategies that contribute to this goal.spa
