The government seeks to incentivize the economy through tax benefits related to the Colombian
Tax Statute, encouraging the growth of the technological sector that, according to a report by the
MINTIC in 2019, ICT obtained a growth of 1.08% of national PIB due to strategies and mechanisms
implemented in the same economic sector. The essay presented is argumentative and aims to publicize
the different strategies or channels of salary compensation and mechanisms that can be implemented
based on the direct or indirect salaries agreed between the parties since the signing of the contract or
existing labor agreement through a documentary study; likewise, review and study the different
benefits granted by the government to employers that favor the employer and its workers, and the
salary compensation strategies that benefit both parties. The main conclusion is that the benefits
granted by the government favor both the employer and their workers from the tax and emotional
aspects; taxing the employer by assuming the expenses for health, education and food of their workers
and benefiting employees as part of their emotional salary to access health, education and food.
Emphasizing the tax benefit generated by the expense for prepaid medicine and which can be
deductible from income for both parties in the same proportion in which the expense is assumed.
