This work analyzes how financial education has become an important tool for financial decision making, achieving responsible and long-term planning is something that has become difficult to fulfill, since there are no foundations and concepts Adequate, this topic has now become very important for women entrepreneurs in the municipality of Zipaquirá, who have faced serious financing problems for their business units, due to lack of support from private entities in the financial sector. There can be no sustainable financial inclusion if there is no financial education, for this reason we want to carry out a study where it can be shown that women themselves tend to have less financial education than men in general regarding consumerism, however they tend to manage money better, But regardless of gender, there is currently a lack of financial education at the municipal level, and this is because, unfortunately, this type of education is not received from the private sector. On the other hand, it would be important to ensure that financial institutions could contribute their grain of sand through talks, seminars and announcements that promote the proper use of money, which would allow them to improve their lifestyle, making better use of their economic resources. By allowing them to make wise decisions regarding the management of their finances, this would eliminate the problems of economic instability of their business units.
