Abstract
There are publications that evaluate the tools that can be put at the service of teaching and learning for radiology residents around the world. Which have advantages in supporting teaching-learning processes. The objective of this work is to design, develop and evaluate the usability of a computational tool that functions as a repository for diagnostic imaging studies of nervous system tumors and in turn supports the teaching-learning processes of radiology residents of the University Military. The general design of the study corresponds to an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional type. The design of qualitative methods is descriptive. Similar platforms have been developed and their results published; although not all study models are focused on evaluating usability; rather, some are purely descriptive and others evaluate the effectiveness of their own developments. Tools such as ELERA, RENDER or the one developed by Sajedi et al have similarities and differences with NeuroRepVIZ but have described advantages and benefits in the teaching and learning processes of radiology; similar to those that can be inferred from our results.
NeurorepVIZ is a tool with potential uses to support the teaching-learning processes of radiology; as inferred from the positive evaluations in the different dimensions of usability evaluated. Improvements are lacking in their case filter systems and in the incorporation of forms to reduce the number of steps and links to access them.
