Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación consistió en conocer las experiencias y prácticas que constituyen el quehacer del docente de Educación Superior en condición de discapacidad. La metodología implementada fue cualitativa, haciendo uso de un estudio interpretativo y el método narrativo biográfico. Los principales resultados es una recolección de experiencias de los docentes en condición de discapacidad y el impacto de las mismas en su proceso de crecimiento y desarrollo académico, laboral y humano. De la misma manera, se recolectó información sobre las prácticas que caracterizan los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, en esta población, que van desde el diseño, la planeación, la ejecución, la evaluación hasta la autoevaluación. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se concluyó que la inclusión de las personas en condición de discapacidad como profesores en la Educación Superior implica el trabajo colaborativo entre el Estado, las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES), los directivos, los compañeros de trabajo y los mismos estudiantes, para que de esta manera se tomen en cuenta las necesidades de todos, para que de esta manera pueda generar beneficios y satisfacción para todas las partes implicadas, así como los objetivos asociados a los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
The objective of the research was to understand the experiences and practices that constitute the work of the higher education teacher with disabilities. The methodology implemented was qualitative, using an interpretive study and a biographical narrative method. The main results of the study consist in that the experiences that teachers have lived from their role and that at the same time have influenced their process have been based on the level of academic, human and work growth. Likewise, on the practices that characterize the teaching-learning processes, they are from design, planning, execution, evaluation and self-evaluation. From the results, it is concluded that the inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education implies collaborative work between the State, higher education institutions, managers, co-workers and the students themselves, where take into account the needs, so that a fair process is achieved that generates benefits and satisfaction for all parties involved, and the objectives associated with the teaching-learning processes can finally be met.
