Abstract
Diferentes organizaciones colombianas se han preocupado por planificar, diseñar e implementar un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad – SGC al interior de la compañía, es claro que la implementación de un SGC representa algunos beneficios tanto para la organización como para los clientes, dentro de ellos se rescatan el cumplimiento de normas y estándares internacionales, el enfoque, optimización y control de procesos, aspectos que llevan al logro y cumplimiento de los requisitos y/o necesidades de los clientes. Con base en esto resulta relevante garantizar que los líderes de los procesos y en general la alta dirección se encuentren comprometidos con la cultura de la calidad que un SGC demanda, pues si dentro de la organización existe carencia de liderazgo y compromiso con el sistema de gestión se pueden obstaculizar y/o restar parte de los beneficios ya expuestos. Este artículo busca identificar algunos de los factores que generan ausencia de liderazgo y compromiso de la alta dirección con el SGC y en general con la organización. Se realizaron encuestas a personas con rol de líder de procesos y a personal subordinado, en donde se analizó para cada rol la percepción sobre el grado de influencia de las habilidades blandas de la alta dirección frente al clima laboral, el nivel de conciencia sobre la forma en la que cada uno de los roles hace parte de los procesos que conforman el sistema y que tan importante consideran tener conocimiento del marco estratégico de la organización y el SGC.
Different Colombian organizations have been concerned with planning, designing and implementing a Quality Management System - QMS within the company, it is clear that the implementation of a QMS represents some benefits both for the organization and for customers, within them are they rescue the fulfillment of norms and international standards, the focus, optimization and control of processes, aspects that lead to the achievement and fulfillment of customer requirements and / or needs. Based on this it is relevant to ensure that process leaders and senior management in general are committed to the culture of quality that a QMS demands, because if within the organization there is a lack of leadership and commitment to the management system, they can be hindered and / or subtract part of the benefits already exposed. This article seeks to identify some of the factors that generate a lack of leadership and senior management commitment to the QMS and in general to the organization. Surveys were carried out on people with the role of process leader and subordinate personnel, where the perception of the degree of influence of the soft skills of senior management was analyzed for each role in relation to the work environment, the level of awareness about the way in the one that each of the roles is part of the processes that make up the system and how important they consider having knowledge of the strategic framework of the organization and the QMS.
