For this reason, a questionnaire of 20 questions was applied to 22 officials of the judicial branch, where the questionnaire was structured, seeking what knowledge they have about internal auditing within the entity, collecting data on knowledge, terminology, importance, causes and strategies. The results show that public officials are interested in internal audits; they are simply unaware of their applicability and importance with respect to audits as a method of accreditation and quality for the entity, due to the high workload and the lack of training to make the subject better known.
