Abstract
La Base Naval ARC “Málaga”, de la Armada Nacional de Colombia, es un complejo militar ubicado en la bahía interior del Parque Nacional Uramba, en el Pacífico Colombiano, la cual alberga a militares y sus familias, con alrededor de 1.500 personas y tiene como centro médico un establecimiento de primer nivel. Por lo anterior, ante la emergencia sanitaria por pandemia del virus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) y en cumplimiento con las directrices ordenadas por el Gobierno Nacional, se tomó la decisión del trabajo en casa para el personal civil que labora en dicha Unidad Militar, tripulada por cerca de 150 militares y 130 civiles, que realizan funciones de soporte logístico para el lanzamiento de operaciones militares, como también, funciones de auxiliares de oficina, secretarias, mantenimiento de vehículos e infraestructura, aseo general, entre otros, por lo que la ausencia de este personal civil recargó al personal militar con las tareas que cumple el personal no uniformado.
The ARC “Málaga” Naval Base, belonging to the Colombian Navy, is a military complex that is located in the interior bay of the Uramba National Park, in the Colombian Pacific, which houses the military and their families, with around 1,500 people and has a first-class facility as a medical center. Therefore, before of the health emergency for to the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) pandemic and in compliance with the guidelines ordered by the National Government, the decision was made to work at home for the civilian people who work in said Military Unit, manned by about 150 militaries and 130 civilians, who perform logistical support functions for the launch of military operations, as well as office assistant functions, secretaries, vehicle and infrastructure maintenance, general cleaning, among others, for so the absence of these civilian people surcharge militaries with the tasks performed by non-uniformed personnel.
