Abstract
El auditor interno tiene el compromiso de estudiar e implementar acciones que reconozcan los posibles riesgos y amenazas que se puedan manifestar dentro de las empresas, valorando el impacto y dando respuesta exactas, innovadoras y viables. Por consiguiente, las auditorías internas efrentan de grandes desafíos por los avances tecnológicos y las exigencias normativas, necesidades de las personas y empresariales, de ahí la importancia, que los auditores internos cuenten con características, conocimientos básicos y avanzados para desarrollar su rol de forma eficiente y eficaz en las empresas. Es por esto, que en el presente documento se buscó hallar respuesta sobre la importancia y características del rol del auditor interno en la implementación del Sistema Integrado de Gestión (SIG) en las organizaciones, encontrando que, la aplicación de la auditoría interna y en especial el papel a desarrollar por el auditor no puede verse como un punto negativo en la validación de los procesos, por el contrario, este juega un papel fundamental en el cumplimiento de logros y objetivos de la organización, dado que, al ver desde el punto externo del proceso, permite aplicar sus conocimientos en agregar valor y sugerencias sobre la mejor manera de hacer las cosas logrando de esta manera que la organización alcance su máximo nivel de rentabilidad, efectividad y relación con los clientes. Esto quiere decir, que, el auditor interno y la auditoría interna deben ir de la mano la gestión y parte estratégica de las empresas.
The internal auditor is committed to studying and implementing actions that recognize the possible risks and threats that may arise within companies, assessing the impact and providing accurate, innovative and viable responses. Consequently, internal audits face great challenges due to technological advances and regulatory requirements, personal and business needs, hence the importance that internal auditors have characteristics, basic and advanced knowledge to perform their role efficiently. and effective in companies. That is why this document sought to find an answer on the importance and characteristics of the role of the internal auditor in the implementation of the Integrated Management System in organizations, finding that the application of internal auditing and especially the role to developed by the auditor cannot be seen as a negative point in the validation of the processes, on the contrary, this plays a fundamental role in the fulfillment of the achievements and objectives of the organization, since, when viewed from the external point of the process, allows you to apply your knowledge to add value and suggestions on the best way to do things, thus achieving that the organization reaches its maximum level of profitability, effectiveness and relationship with customers. This means that the internal auditor and internal audit must go hand in hand with the management and strategic part of the companies.
