Abstract
Entre los avances tecnológicos que han impactado a las organizaciones se encuentra la inteligencia artificial, sistemas que imitan la inteligencia humana y facilitan el procesamiento y análisis de un gran volumen de datos, la gestión de riesgos y la predicción de escenarios futuros, permitiéndole a la auditoría interna proporcionar a la alta dirección, seguridad de que los riesgos dentro de la organización se están gestionando adecuadamente, al igual que la administración, los controles y los procesos. Es importante evaluar las oportunidades y los desafíos que suponen la inteligencia artificial para la auditoría interna y el auditor interno con el fin de adatarse a los nuevos desafíos tecnológicos.
Among the technological advances that have impacted organizations is artificial intelligence, systems that imitate human intelligence and facilitate the processing and analysis of a large volume of data, risk management and the prediction of future scenarios, allowing the Internal auditing provides senior management with assurance that risks within the organization are being properly managed, as are administration, controls and processes. It is important to assess the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence poses for internal audit and the internal auditor in order to adapt to new technological challenges.
