Resumen
Para el año 2020, Colombia se vio bastante afectado por la pandemia del Covid- 19. Como objetivo de la investigación se recopiló información sobre el comportamiento del empleo en la ciudad de Bogotá para la época de pandemia y post pandemia, utilizando como método un enfoque cualitativo descriptivo contemplando datos estadísticos tomados de diferentes fuentes institucionales, llevados al análisis e interpretación. Así pues, se encontró que para este periodo las estrictas cuarentenas decretadas por el gobierno no permitieron que muchas personas pudieran continuar con el cumplimiento de sus empleos, mientras que otras se vieron obligadas a trabajar desde sus casas, situaciones que llevaron a muchas empresas a prescindir de algunos de sus trabajadores debido a la terrible crisis económica que atravesó el país. Bogotá como capital fue una de las más afectadas en cuanto aportes a la tasa de desempleo debido a su gran población que la habita. No obstante, la tecnología jugó un papel importante en esta época lo cual permitió que muchas empresas y empleos se mantuvieran o se recuperaran gracias a que sus labores se podían realizar desde casa y/o utilizando diferentes herramientas tecnológicas.
For the year 2020, Colombia was quite affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The objective of this research was to collect information on the behavior of employment in the city of Bogotá for the pandemic and post-pandemic times, using a qualitative approach as a method. descriptive contemplating statistical data taken from different institutional sources, taken to analysis and interpretation. Thus, it is found that for this period the quarantine restrictions decreed by the government did not allow many people to continue fulfilling their jobs, while others were forced to work from home, situations that led many companies to do without some of its workers due to the terrible economic crisis that the country went through. Bogotá as the capital was one of the most affected in terms of contributions to the unemployment rate due to its large population that inhabits it. However, technology played an important role at this time, which allowed many companies and jobs to be maintained or recovered thanks to the fact that their work could be carried out from home and/or using different technological tools.
