Resumen
La problemática actual sobre el manejo de las llantas usadas se presenta a nivel mundial y nacional, al igual que en el municipio de Villavicencio. Teniendo en cuenta que las acciones actuales de las entidades gubernamentales no vislumbran una solución a dicha problemática, se realizó una valoración de 3 métodos de reciclaje de llantas con el fin de determinar cuál es el más adecuado para implementar en el municipio de Villavicencio y disminuir el impacto actual. Con base en una revisión bibliográfica, se seleccionaron los procesos de incineración, trituración y termólisis-pirolisis para ser evaluados bajo cinco criterios: efectos sobre la salud, efectos sobre el ambiente, facilidad funcionamiento técnico, viabilidad económica, e impacto social. Se determinó que el proceso más favorable para implementar en la ciudad de Villavicencio fue la trituración, el cual requiere del acompañamiento de diversas acciones que permitan la capacitación y el éxito del proceso.
The current problem about the handling of used tires is presented at global and national levels, as well as in the town of Villavicencio. Taking into account that current actions of government agencies not envision a solution to this problem, was an evaluation of three methods of recycling of tires in order to determine which is best suited to implement in the town of Villavicencio, and reducing the current impact. Based on a literature review, the processes of incineration, crushing and pyrolysis were selected to be evaluated according to five criteria: health effects, effects on the environment and ease technical performance, economic viability, social impact. It was determined that the process more favorable to deploy in the city of Villavicencio was crushing, which requires the accompanying of various actions that allow training and the success of the process.
