Risk management in the pharmaceutical industry by the ICH Q9 "Quality Risk Management" through its identification, planning, implementation and evaluation, is a useful tool to ensure drug quality in their manufacture and dose delivery to the patient. A process of escalation (technology transfer) in the manufacturing route for each drug that has obtained the sanitary registration as a new product before the regulatory body INVIMA is performed. It is important to document for further manufacturing and perform batch after batch process within specifications and deliver a finished product with quality by design. Due to this fact is included in the process of escalation D01001 - F1V1 format (see Annex 1), corresponding area COLOMPACK Development SA, responsible for the first production of the drug, in this work the effective application of escalation in the operations performed is shown: screening dispensing, mixing and packaging for the product manufacturing nitazoxanide 100 mg / 5 mL powder for suspension on the premises of COLOMPACK SA.eng
