Abstract
La reglamentación Colombiana para la inversión extranjera, es la que delimita y permite la entrada de capitales al país, el estudio de ella es de gran importancia dado que permite comprender de qué forma se maneja en Colombia las inversiones, para que de esta manera traiga consigo atributos a favor para el pueblo Colombiano, haciendo una pequeña comparación con el país latinoamericano más competitivo en cuanto a inversión se refiere como lo es Chile, que en su normatividad genera condiciones para los inversionistas, dejando un porcentaje de las utilidades obtenidas por la misma. El análisis y el conocimiento del funcionamiento de compañías trasnacionales en Colombia y las consecuencias que ellas han traído para el país, hacen notar los desfases y el lado negativo de sus inversiones. Los países desarrollados saben cómo deben administrar y reglamentar los niveles de impuestos, tributos y regalías que deja la inversión extranjera para invertir esos recursos en mejoras, las cuales ayudan a optimizar el nivel de desarrollo y calidad de vida de sus nacionales, velando por sus intereses en materia de salud, educación, infraestructura entre otros.
