Resumen
Teniendo en cuenta que el Control Interno debe ser entendido como una función administrativa esencial, que busca dar sostenimiento a largo plazo a las organizaciones, es fundamental para el éxito de las mismas, entender la fuerte correlación entre el Control Interno y la Planeación Estratégica. El primero, propende por el logro de los objetivos en todos los niveles de la organización, incluyendo el estratégico y la segunda define y gestiona la visión de largo plazo y los objetivos estratégicos que se deben lograr para materializarla.
El presente artículo se enfoca en la línea de investigación de Estudios Contemporáneos en Gestión y Organizaciones, en la sublínea de Estrategia, Innovación y Competitividad y toma como base la Planeación Estratégica y Prospectiva de la Dirección General Marítima – Dimar (Autoridad Marítima colombiana) al año 2030 y entendiendo las transformaciones que se persiguen a futuro, se busca hacer una definición de los cambios fundamentales que debe tener el Control Interno para continuar haciendo un control efectivo sin importar las transformaciones organizacionales.
Taking into account that internal control should be understood as an essential administrative function, which seeks to give long-term sustainability to organizations, it is fundamental for the success of these organizations to understand the strong correlation between internal control and strategic planning. The first, aims at achieving the objectives at all levels of the organization, including the strategic level and the second, formulates, defines and manages the long-term vision and the strategic objectives that must be achieved to materialize it. This article focuses on the research line of Contemporary Studies in Management and Organizations, in the sub-line of Strategy, Innovation and Competitiveness and is based on the strategic planning and prospective of the Maritime General Directorate - Dimar, Colombian Maritime Authority to the year 2030 and search an understanding the transformations that are pursued in the future, seeks to make a definition of the fundamental changes that must have internal control for continue to make effective control regardless of organizational transformations.
