Abstract
The PM10 pollutant behavior measured during the year 2016 in the Air Quality Monitoring Network of Bogota was done using both the open data available on the platforms of the District's Environmental Department of the city, geographic data Of the city of Bogotá and the location of the stations that compose the network to create a geographical context, and finally tools of space analysis present in ArcGIS; The project was carried out in order to determine the representativeness of the data when evaluating the state of air quality throughout the jurisdiction of Bogotá and the accuracy of the interpolation proposed.
The results showed acceptable behavior of the contaminant within the metropolitan area of the city, with peaks in the localities of Puente Aranda, Kennedy, Tunjuelito y Fontibón where its concentration is above the annual normative minimum established in resolution 610 of 2010 of the then Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial, Housing and Sustainable Development; On the other hand, in the space environment, the need to increase the distribution of indicative stations (mainly for PM10 measurement) was determined, both within the urban sector of the city and the rural area within its jurisdiction, to obtain more High importance that help to improve the result of the interpolation carried out by the geographic information system.
