The current approach of organizations is related to how to have happier collaborators, in order to improve their productivity and achieve the objectives and strategies raised at different levels. However, in relation to this new concept, there are some aspects that need to be reviewed and analyzed in order to respond to some of the concerns that have arisen lately about happiness. It is not easy to deal with the issue of happiness at work, so this essay makes reference to some administrative theories among which are: the scientist Elton Mayo (1880-1949), Professor McGregor Douglas (1906 - 1964) and the theory of human behavior or (behaviorist theory). All these theories have influenced in great form and have given a new point of view to the administrative theory of the management of the human talent in the present organizations.
The major analysis of this essay focuses on the Elton Mayo theory given that it is the main representative of human relations and was most interested in knowing the behavior of humans influenced by emotional factors and their relationship to the productivity of the companies. He studied the effect of the physical characteristics of the work environment (Hawthorne Experiment, 1927).
According to this experiment "the day to day business organization focuses on improving its results and indicators." In this sense it is possible to correlate the happiness of the employee with growth and development of the company. This happiness can be the same of the owners and / or shareholders creating feelings and emotions that generate satisfaction in all members and levels of the organization.
